 Living in Adana Are there any members living in the Adana area? I know there is quite a few Brits and Americans here though have only got to meet a few of them so far.

I have lived in Adana for 2 years now. Average rent for apartments 5500 YTL pa. Many restaurants but little choice as most sell same menu. Temperature is hot, hot, hot in summer but pleasant rest of the time. Culture is usual mix for Turkey - old and new side by side. Large ex-Pat presence. Personally don't want to live anywhere else.

Just moved here from the States, I hear there are a lot of expats, but I have yet to meet anyone. I am of course interseted in meeting others.

Nice to hear there are others living in the Adana area. Try to escape that summer heat by taking the 50 minute (give or take depending on the weight of your foot) to the Mersin area. I've already posted replies to Jake and mcc regarding my relocation to the area in the coming months. I would hope to meet up with you also.

you will be amazed at how many ex-pats are here. I have been here for 10 years and I have seen many ex-pats come and go but there are still quite a few of us around.
