 Curious So come on then yabancis what is the weather getting like out there, is summer shaping up nicely and what activities have you all been upto.
Me Im very happy I handed my notice in at work and my last day will be friday 2nd june, then im going to sit on my big fat ass to watch the world cup,
c'mon england

weather is nice, we have been having dinner out on the terrace last saturday. other then that we have been gathering for both the UEFA cup and the CL finals at the Red Lion's club at the english embassy. been out to watch an Ankara match and soon am going to play a wee bit of footy myself again. god have i missed the nice weather, it even seems better now after the harshest winter Ankara has experienced in years.
bring on the world cup!

yeah summer started last friday! bbq at summerhouse, seaside, and some brave guys even swimming in black sea! felt cold for me although in finland waters never got warmer as it is here now... (am I getting spoiled?  )

Well its been raining cats and dogs over here in blighty.
To make matters worse I was jabbing a pitch fork into the back garden to help drainage and stabbed my toe, ouch it hurts

Update please, how is Ankara now?
When I last visited there was still snow up in the moutains and the fields were still green.

Well, World Cup fever has hit me and FD. We even had Ani and Glitter watching the Brazil-Australia match with us yesterday.

Weather is great, sunny, hot.
Down to the pub most nights to watch world cup matches (Etiler's North Shield)
Tending to my balcony garden (currently exploding with color)
Smelling the scent of BBQ from other peoples' gardens...
Going down to Fethiye next month for the annual family reunion back in the village
