Post -19 degrees We're Screwed
Last night temperatures dropped to -19 degrees c. Water pipes have burst in many locations and car battery's have frozen and left people stranded on the streets.

Today at noon which is suppossed to be the hottest hour of the day temperatures were at -6 .

Fellow Ankarites bundle up its not going to get any better tonight!!

Glitter, I do feel with you. I only once had this, when I was a student in Berlin and temperature dropped to minus 25C. Water pipes burst and I had no water in my, (what I called) flat for 4 weeks. I suppose, when you are 18 thats fun/adventure. I couldn't accept that now.

But trust me, sun will come and soon it will be warm and then hot again.

I hope you still have warm water and your heating works.

:) I'm trying to fool my brain into thinking its summer by drinking Malibu, smelling my coconut scented suntan lotion and listening to those Ibiza tunes.

It certainly was wonderful today. Sitting outside at the pub, then off to the football, and victory as well. Why isn't football a summer sport. Watching it would be much more fun then
