Post trekking
Wasn't sure where to post this, but since I live in Ankara...
Anyone know how I can find out about weekend trekking/camping trips from Ankara?
Are there local groups/ outfitters?
Thanks in advance

there's a place in Ankara, on "Esat cd" - that supplies outdoor equipement - it might be a good place to start. The other idea is that in the latest Lonely Planet book there's a huge section on hillwalking and trekking around Turkey.......they'll probably have details on trekking companies....

pop "Esat CD, Ankara, Turkey" into Google maps and it will come up. it's just south of the new mosque, in the sourthern part of the citry centre in the direction of the Sheraton & Hilton hotels.
