Right here goes El Torro in Konyalti Not far behind the Porto Bello Hotel. Run by Canni (Swiss old fart)and Marie (chech nice lady) Food good and not expensive, drinks about the same as everywhere here pricewise. Service good and staff friendly (we did get them playing spoons once -hilarious) Ambience good for a family bar restaurant, good mix of people using the bar. Friday night is pub night for a few of the expats here so come along if you fancy meeting us. Only problem closed all day monday- the old fart needs to rest

While I was living in Alanya I enjoyed going to Sherzade in the centrum, very close to the minibus station. Very nice pide and delicious Iskender!!! There was also a quite expensive fish restaurant in the main street begining of Kleopatra Beach. I believe the name started with A, but I am usually wrong... anyway, the fish was good and they had great meze.

adana ocabaşı in the dolmuş durağı always busy with turks and tourists. Hisar restaurant on the castle hill for the view Sultan Sofrası east side of town cheap & good. Queens Garden for a lively (tourist geared ) night out. Cello Bar for turkish melancholy (halk music) Gece Bar opposite for a mix turkish music pop & arabesque. Dedi Kodü same building arabesque and fab harbour view.

The Living Room in Kaleici right on the castle's turret in the town proper of Antalya. Nice views, good food, decent wine. Menu is also translated in German.
The Beach Club at Konyaalti Beach, Hillside Su. Great beachfront ambiance, all white (some dirty) couches and seats, very cool music, private beach setting but drinks are more expensive than the other bars past Hillside Su toward the main dining/bar area. I rememember having had decent meals in that area but unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the restaurants. There's even an ice cream place that is just so relaxing since the seats are huge bean bags. Don't know the name of that place either. Sorry.

The El Torro has moved to Sirinyali, Lara. Go past the Dedemen and Makro it is almost opposite Akbank.
