 Another restaurant to avoid???

Post Another restaurant to avoid???
Went into Rio Bravo on Istiklal today as I fancied a steak. Hadn't been there for a year - last time it was great.

But today it was very different. Although it was 2.30 p.m. and not very busy, it took ages to get the Menu. After I had decided what I wanted - pepper steak - another wait to get a garcon's attention to take my order.

My meal arrived - what a disappointment. Seemed like the sauce had been made with marmalade instead of peppers. Steak itself was thin and "tired." Very overcooked green bits - once they were beans I guess. There were also some potato wedges which were quite good. But it was all served on a plate which felt as if it had come out of a freezer. The whole meal was barely more than tepid. I had ordered my steak medium-rare but from the look and taste of the steak it had been boiled in water rather than grilled.

A glass of tasteless red wine and one of water (1.5 milyon just for a GLASS of water). The food has 50% discount until 7.00 p.m., but I wouldn't go back again if they were giving that food away.

btw, I have to agree that rio bravo has awfull service, the waiters are standing there watching tv, i stood up and walked to them 3 times to get their attention.

the food is pretty much bad, i ordered something (don't remember what) it was supposed to be hot but when i got it after 20 minutes it was pretty much cold.
and that after 20 minutes.

Place is crap and the clientele are normally crap too.
Steak? Best one I had was in Nis (is it open again?) talking half a cow stuff, then a fillet in T-Square followed by Flamm.
