 any Mexican restaurants in Istanbul? I'm dying for lack of Mexican food. Are there any Mexican restaurants in İstanbul?

Think this was covered somewhere........ Check out Activities. Delridge organises Mexican dinners in Asia. On this side (Europe) there's a fast food place in Etiler... El Torritos or something. Others, don't know anywhere specialised.

Hi Timi, the closest one to you is called El Torrito. It is located on the Tramvay Yolu near Istanbul University across from the Laleli/Üniversite tramvay stop. It is also the most reasonably priced & tastiest Mexican I have tried here. That being said, it will probably be a disappointment as you have not been here long enough for your tastebuds to have forgotten what yummy Mexican-American cuisine tastes like.

The Etiler 'El Torritos' is actually a beautiful restaurant with a nice terrace and pretty tasty food. It also has a 'fast food' area at the side for a quickie.
If you're coming this way TJ, just ask for Etiler McDonalds....as El Torritos is next door. 559C bus from Taksim will get you there, bus stops outside McDonalds and is the stop after AkMerkez.

Hey Timi,
Starfish & I hit El Torrito in Laleli last night after shopping for the trip back home. Just a little clarification on directions. It is not exactly across from the tramvay stop as I remembered. It is a few minutes walk down (towards the Aksaray stop).
