 Belfast cafe and PUB: Moda We went into this place after footy on Saturday (on a whim to try it out) but were in for a nice surprise. A classic cosy traditional pub with wooden bar, lovely woden tables and chairs and a warm glow. Corners full of cushions and an electronic darts board were a bonus. Ice cold cans of heineken slipped down very nicely and there was also very reasonably priced short drinks. In short: da bomb.  Gece got the full story from the owner (he has never been to Ireland but has an obsession with it so wanted to create his vision of a Belfast pub in Istanbul). As I said on that other thread, this place does sound very interesting. What was the music like? Did they have any Irish music on in the background? I am thinking more "Foggy Dew" and "Finnegan's Wake" then "Tell me Ma" mind you.
