I had written a review on this place 3-4 weeks back but the forum had a breakdown and my post was among those that disappeared

Anyway....now that I have been to the place again recently, so I have decided to write about it again

It is actually only a few minutes' walk from Taksim Square, along a lane off Siraselviler Street. Their adress and their phone no. are listed on the front page of their Web site. If you want to go on a Friday or Saturday night and want to get a table with a nice view, it is better to reserve a table in advance.

It is a gay-friendly venue. By the way, in the same building, on the ground floor, there is the Barbahce Club, one of the most famous and decent gay clubs in town.

Anyway, as for Besinci Kat, the view is quite nice (it is a roof terrace place), with a great view of the Bosphorous....the menu's got a nice variety of dishes (all listed on their Web site, which is quite a rarity for restaurants here so congrats to them for that).....there is a good choice of drinks, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails...the service is really top class.....the waiters are really cute And, another big plus is that the toilets are really clean...well, I haven't been to the ladies' one of course But, I am assuming that the ladies' one is at least as clean as the gents' one

Well, I had had no idea that you placed it in the 'name and shame' section Thanks for telling this but I have had a positive experience of the place at the times I went there and had no intention of shaming the place. However, I have read the comments in the 'name and shame' section so when I go there again, I will make sure I tell the folks there about your experiences. Well, maybe I have also been ripped off there at least once but was too drunk to take notice of it. Possible

Anywhere that has the cheek to up their prices by nearly 50% just because its after midnight should be disgraced. Even Reina doesnt have the balls to do this and anyway after 1am the place dies and they turn the music down. Went there once but will never go back again.
