Jonathan, the training schedule does not say "stop ten minutes for a balik ekmek" anyway! Besides, when I come past these boats, the smoke is killing me. Musulko, good stuff you say?

Wonderfull stuff! And Jonathan, if you guys would run at decent hours you could have since long tasted this deliciousness. But 6h30 on weekdays and 9h on weekends is just plain madness! ](*,)

I have to admit here... that I actually did it. More than once...
I was going for my run, and when I was passing the boat towards bebek first, I was telling them to prepare me a bun ad then running to hisar and back, it'd have been just ready then, running with it some more to home, with a lot of heartbeat and having a fabulous 30 seconds with it. Gulp!!

Post Angel Blue
My best Fish Restaurant recommendation is the Angel Blue. Don't ask me how to get there, its pretty close to the second bridge. I completely lost track while being driven there, and was drunk on my way back. The fish meze they serve as starters are amazingly good. E.g. I never had such delicious small fish rolls in a capers-cream sauce, I wish I could have taken the whole pan with the rest of sauce home :!:
Service was pretty good. Locality is beautiful, and in the toilet they even have perfume spenders that add a decent scent !!!into!!! the flushing water. I just guess its better to go there in the summer and sit outside, but even in the winter rating is: 5.
Prices, enjoy and don't think about it.

Relax Janch, you'll get a heart attack. There's other good dead fish in town. (At Iskele/Rumeli Hisari for example.)

If you are going to come to Angel blue then dont park your car in the side street next door or you run the risk of coming up against a not so happy foul mouthed brit.
