Post Fish n Chips at Nefish, Akatlar
This came up in another thread, but I thought I'd re-post it here...

Newish restaurant in Akatlar called Nefish-- pun intended--'nefis' in Turkish means 'excellent', 'exquisite'.

It serves fish n chips! Just like King Fisher used to. The only thing missing is the newspaper to wrap it in and the malt vinegar for the chips...

It's in Akatlar, address available on yemeksepeti.com--I've never been there in person, but order from y.s. all the time.

:o

Well, if the place is decent (read: serves alcohol) then it might be a good place for a pre-pub-crawl group dinner

yemeksepeti can't serve alcohol online.. let me look at the printed menu to see if they serve at the restaurant...

As I was researching various neighborhoods in which to live, I discovered that there's also a Nefish on the Asian side in Caddebostan...maybe the "darker side of Istanbul" isn't so bad after all
