Post Getting into Reina and Crystal
Having a visitor over next week and he happened to read the below regarding one of the clubs in this city. I would personally never set my foot there…

"Reina, the reigning King, sorry Queen, of Istanbul’s summer nightlife. Yes, its the favorite of the model, footballer, pop singer crowd. Yes, weekends it overflows with rich, tanned Turkish youth in heat. "

However, occasionally I am a good host, and I need to find a way to get into this place. Is it possible to get in? Does one have to book a table? Is it open now in the winter?

- What are the chances of two ugly guys getting in on their own?
- What time does one need to be there?

If all of the above fails – how many liras can make it work at the entrance?

Then there is another place called Crystal. Does anybody know anything about it? Same thing here, how do you get in when you are not part of the city’s elite – but just want to pretend to be it for a while?

Are there any fancy places in this town which can be recommended?

Yes... he took me there. The crowd was young, rich and beautiful... and they all ate durum kebab.

The places you're mentioning are summer venues, and thus, haven't opened yet.

Places you can go now:
nuPera (pera, close to babylon)
suite (nisantasi)
reasurans pasaji (it's like a shopping mall of bars, good looking people, nice people & assholes, all in one. nisantasi)
some places in Etiler, but I never go there.
Ulus 29 (Models and pimps, perfect recipe for a great evening. Oh yeah, a bottle of absolut is ±350lira. Ulus.)

can't think of anything else at the moment.

Yes Reina is open also in winter and if you go for dinner you must have booking so you pay nothing for the entrance.(If you will have still problems to get in call me ,will tell them to take you in  )

never been to "Reina", never will.

"crystal" is opened not just for summers. it is open now. i enjoyed everytime i went there, but maybe its my mood. they used to take members only few years ago. now they let non-members also if they have a nice attitude  havent been there for a while.

"nu pera" is nice

you can also take them to "Ghetto" for quality music.

i have a friend working in Suite and Marca in Nişantaşı. not my type of places. they have a young crowd, i think and not a special kind of music(they call it "casual" music).

you can ask for Yücehan and tell my name "neslihan" if you have problems getting in. but be nice boys!

there is another venue in Nişantaşı which claims that they are "the first and only" night club in Nişantaşı. "STNBL". Reina kind of crowd, i guess which i cant bear.

and "Vogue" in Beşiktaş, i may suggest

have fun!

As long as you don't look like a twat or rough (nice English compliments there), you'll have no problems.
More important is whether you feel comfortable there.

Got a nice list there anyway!
NuPera - drink
Wanna - eat/drink
al jamal - eat/drink
360 - eat/drink
Ghetto - live music, dance
Dans - dance
Suite - eat/drink
Marca - eat/drink
Cahide Variete - queens - eat/drink
stnbl - drink
Vogue - eat
Discorium - dance
Mansion - drink (termed a meyhane version of the Miami name  )
Ulus 29 - eat
Reina - eat/dance
Crystal - dance - get guestlist from generous BatGirl! Costs YTL35 normally

Eating starts at 9pm
Drinking starts at 11pm
Dancing starts after 2am

Posing optional

Batty:
How do you rate Sapphire and Blackk for pose-ability?
When I meet certain blokes and they run off the list of where they hang out, I make a mental note not to hang out there

e.g. pretender: Suite, Ulus 29, Reina..........wanna be: Nu Pera, Wanna, Blackk

Good luck mradder! Report back on whether you get your credit card cut up!

Sapphire was marginally good the first year it opened. It went downhill from there.

Like the girls said, book a table for dinner at Reina and you're in.

Get on the guest list and be nice to Banu (and whoever listed you) at Crystal. Go there late though @ around 2 am on weekends.

Have fun and please tell us how it goes...

Thanks you everyone – and especially to Nalan, Batgirl and Nesspecial for these great contribution and suggestions on how to get into these places.

I will of course announce the final plan in order for anyone interested to observe our posing. …and I will follow up with a detailed field report of my observations.

- Are there any recommendations on what to wear to achieve the highest pose factor?

- Where can I rent a Porsche Cayenne Turbo?

- Where can I rent other accessories?

- When talking to people: What should be my job? Where should I live? Where should I be from?
