Got to say that I was a little bit disappointed with Les Ottomans. The food was good - I had spicy prawn soup, levrek, and a fantastic triple creme brulee but the service was poor. The waiter struggled to remember what flavors of sorbet there were, he spilled my soup when delivering it and didn't wipe the plate (or even offer to wipe the plate), some of the cutlery was not very clean, they were understaffed because most of the staff were preparing a reception, there were spelling mistakes on the menu (both Turkish and English) and a few other things. None of these things are particularly important but when paying Les Ottomans prices then we're not just paying for the food but for the overall ambience. Just thought I would share.

just as an add on to this - I emailed Les Ottomans with my concerns and have still not received a response. Not that I was expecting one, I'm not "koy'den gelme"

I know the executive chef, and let her know about your comments, no one had advised her about your email, she's certainly concerned about your comments, you may hear from her.

to ensure fairness to Les Ottomans, a lady did respond to my email and apologised for any misunderstanding. She then said that she hoped next time I came I would see improvements. What a missed opportunity for Les Ottomans.....
