This relatively new BBQ place might be an interesting change of pace for your overseas visitors when they come to the "old city". The decor is pleasant, and the staff is friendly although at times rather-English-language challenged. The best part is the three large charcoal-fired "cook-it-yourself" grill set up. I think at least ten people can sit at each table and grill meat, tomatoes, peppers, whatever while drinking anything from water to beer, wine and raki. Prices are decent.

I confess that I sometimes stop there on the way home from the pizza place and enjoy a plate of lamb chops.

It may seem a bit out of the way, but it's only one block to the right from the bottom of the Hippodrome.
