 Le Pecheur
Le Pecheur is located on the coastol road after Yenikoy and just before you get into Tarabya. It is built onto the sea and offers fine views of Tarabya and Beykoz opposite. Food was excellent and so was the service. Great wine and an amazing round table made up with dozens of wine bottles (keep away from Charly). Only downside, it is very expensive a nd you are looking at around 80 YTL per head including drinks, not that I was paying anyway.

And, most importantly, the bathrooms were clean. Wonderful restaurant.

YTL80 is not expensive for a fish restaurant with drinks. I presume you had more than one course? Is it down a cobbled street?

you must be thinking of a different place. Not many cobbled streets around Tarabya and it is on the main Sahil yolu.

I beg to differ - but this street is easy to miss. Very short. Anyway cheap skate - hope you made some money.

There is no cobbled street near this restaurant. I know the area very well. How could I make money from eating some fish???

He dropped me off right in front of my door. I wasn't back home until 11:30 or so, meaning that he wouldn't have gotten home until around midnight, even sans cocktail.

Why not? Most guys on the street here think I'm a prostitute anyway.
