The perfect brunch location:

Don't be fooled by the lack of diners in the window seats - the restaurant is actually at the back in the conservatory. This place is known as a summer location but it is nice just to sit and listen to the rain.

Service - Very good. Enough time for browsing, noone was jumping up and down, they even let my companion pour me more wine without getting stroppy.

Price - Bottle of local cheap wine (i.e. Angora, Cankaya) starts at YTL38. Main courses YTL14-20.

Music - Lounge, funk

Food - Pleasantly surprised. I had linguine with a sunblushed tomato and squid sauce. Pasta was cooked perfectly al dente (very hard to find in this town), squid was soft (not rubbery from lack of stewing) and sauce was just about perfect (erring on salty). My bloke had pizza (base needed more salt and was slightly too dried bread-like but topping was good.
I'd also recommend the fillet mignon. Medium was cooked medium.

Drink - Big bar with a good selection.

Toilet - What can I say? clean?

Definitely recommend this place (for those who have an aversion to Taksim/Beyoglu, you'd be surprised)

Taksim (that main street down from the Marmara Hotel with eateries)
