Yes 'Suite' .... JC and I went on Friday night! never again! For a start it was extremely difficult for two guys to get in on their own, got to have a girl on your arm. We only managed it by phoning a girl that had been with us earlier and who was already inside to come out to confirm we were with her!

Inside, it was okay - nothing special - very crowded as u would expect, but FULL of cliquey pretentious girls and boys. What hacked me off was that each occasion I went to the bar to order beers - I think they were 12.5 YTL each - not too bad for a club, but the problem arose once you handed over your money....bar takings all go through one dodgy cashier at the end of the bar - either they don’t trust the staff or they're playing a scam, but they never seemed to want to give you change and on one round I had to remind them why I was still waiting at the bar ten minutes after paying for the drinks and having received them. Was then given some of my change in instalments - I didn’t understand but I think the barman tried to tell me he had no change! I gave up waiting for the rest! No waiting time in ordering drinks, but half an hour wait for your change - if you’re lucky to get any! Are there any limits to the creativity the locals use in conning money out of the Yabanci? Do they think we're made of money???

PANTS! NEVER GOING BACK!

Cornelia, Sure give him my feedback....I didnt know about the bed - It sounds quite good value actually if there's ten of you and youre in the mood for continuous drinking - must be some kind of catch though - surely 10 people couldnt drink Jack Daniels all night for $1000 'all' in for example? I thought I saw what you decribed as ten people on a 'bed' (looked quite packed, like they were clinging to each other on a miniature desert island - only big enough for five, in the middle of shark infested waters) They had an enormous Ice bucket full of beers, so maybe thats the catch, beers only???

Gilly,
i am not sure if all drinks from the bar is available but i think yes, of course not that only beer, i guess yoi can order whatever you wish....so for that you pay 1000$, only cudling on a bed is not worth that much money hehe.he told me that the bed contains no more then 10 people.of course can be even more if you dont mind of being "packed" :P

Etiler, Nisantasi, Ortakoy night life is always a hassle if you don't have any girls with you, so as NewYork City, Chicago, San Fran etc... I guess its both good and bad...

I am not talking about pubs but clubs and lounges equivalent to Reina or Suite etc. And I only know the American cities but yes they have the system. The way it works is, you will either have to "secretly" tip the doorman, or know the doorman (through tipping before). They will never tell you that you need to have girls with you but you will just watch other people go in and you will be told to wait for a little bit more but never let in...

Uh, Chicago is in the Midwest, or suddenly those who call fizzy beverages "pop" have infiltrated the East Coast.

Hey Matt how is it in Vancouver?

Or does anyone here know how it is in Toronto.

I hate the discontents of globalization.

I wonder where and how the concept of dame requirement fist appeared in the annalls of night life?

btw, gilly.
In most clubs in istanbul/turkey it's hard to get in if you are trying to get in with only guys.

I like it.
it keeps the ratio of men and women pretty much even.
keeps it from turning into a sausuge fest.
