Post boutique hotel - Oludeniz
If you think there's no decent accomodation in the Olu Deniz area, then think again. We stayed at the Oyster Residence on the beach in Oludeniz. The stone-constructed boutique hotel, owned by an Istanbul artist, has beautiful rooms containing luxury furnishings and a flat screen TV. Hospitality is warm and the service is excellent. Pool is beautifully kept and boasts a huge white sofa at one end and floor cushions at the other, plus the usual array of loungers. Restaurant is among the best in the area, offering modern, alternative cuisine. Only downside is the price, which is higher than other hotels in the area, but well worth the outlay. 120 euros for two, peak season, including a hearty breakfast. Choose one of the ground floor rooms, which have their own mini garden with seating.
