just a word about MidTown cafe. Leah is no longer working there. The owner didn't want to spend the money
to get her a work visa and she didn't want to risk getting kicked out of Turkey ... so they amicably separated...
the owners learned leah's magical hamburger technique and so you can still get a great burger there if you go.
I can't promise you that you'll get anything else as good...Leah was the chef...the owners are ... just owners.

If you want to taste any of Leah's great cooking, then you have to make reservations and come here ...
to the Stone Owl Cottage...

I heard Kaş has turned into a 'maganda-town'? Sounds like she got out at a good time!

haha....would leah know a maganda at this point??

actually, she made some very good friends there...they don't seem to be the
maganda types...and a number of foreign ladies live there...i'm surprised since
i never see foreigners here!!!

and i'm none the worse for it!!

:D
I was recommending her place to a friend who lives down there - shame your daughter won't be there! This seems slightly typical - steal the ideas then kick out the idea-giver -- only to fail miserably and be a one-season wonder! Are there any Americans left in the American bistro?

I hope she gets a call to come back!
