Post Bosphorus daytime and nighttime trips
Folks,

Research didn't brought me that along. So here we go with a very simple question:
Where can we start a nice Bosphorus boat cruise (oh yes one of the touristic ones  ) from
the Asian side onwards?
As some of you know me already, here the german spread-sheet qustionnaire:
Where? (!)
Who? (company)
Costs?
Reservations necessary?
Duration (we are looking for a max 3-4 hours cruise)?

Yes I know that there are full day cruıses. However we' re just looking for nice boat trip
before our friends go back to the airport.

Thank you for your support. All the best

Oere

Are you looking to do private or public? Here's some info on public:

You can take the ferry from Kadıköy to Üsküdar or Beşiktaş and do this (12.50 ytl round-trip):

For a night cruise with music and time for dinner there is this one (15 ytl round-trip. Longer than 4 hours, however):

From Kadıköy you can do a 1.5 hour round-trip with Turyol (6 ytl):

Have fun!

oere, 3 - 4 hours seems a bit difficult, i think, most trips are either shorter or longer.

if you want to do a longer one, i recommend the one from besiktas all the way to anadolu kavagi (see burbaco's ido-schedule), get off there, take a walk, and take a ship back the same way.

if you want to do a shorter one, i recommend that you take one of the (private i think) boats in ortaköy (they leave every 20 minutes or so, left hand side of the mosque, costs are approx. 4 YTL per person), they do a nice tour from bridge one to bridge two and back along both sides of the bos.

all the best to you too.

Just came across this private option on craigslist. Prices are surprisingly fair (hopefully not several years out-of-date):

It was nice meeting you and the missus on the boat trip.
