How to send BFPO mail from Turkey

 How to send BFPO mail from Turkey For the Brits:
I want to send BFPO mail to Afghanistan.
How do I do it from Turkey? Is it straightforward? Anyone done it?

Just got this from a mate:
BFPO is the British Forces Post Office, if sending mail from the UK no problem a BFPO number is enough to get it to its destination, however, in Istanbul he would need to get it to a British Military establishment, who would send it to the UK for onward delivery to its destination.
Does he know anybody from the NATO unit at Istanbul?
Otherwise it would have to be sent to somebody in UK who could just stick it in a post box. It would also need a UK stamp.
