Only partially.
And rumor has it that they will close it again for another 10 days of work putting things in order around the mall, before they can partially re-open it.
So, shopping enthusiasts, hold your horses, yet.
(Although, DKNY is waiting to unwrap its mannequins.)

The roads are not ready, shops not open but they gave flowers as presents.
Pleasei do not try to get there during weekend, if you are not coming by walking.

So, I finally managed to visit Istinye Park and found it amazing! This must be one of the nicest shopping centers in the world! It's very spacious, the food court is beautiful and looks like a mediterranean weekly market (try Günaydin butcher for an excellent steak!), and there are cozy restaurants and cafes scattered everywhere. All the shops seem to be open now and most of the Turkish and many international brands are there. In particular I loved the outdoor area with the high end brands (Gucci etc.), it feels like Milan!

Thanks Yakamoz, I'll check it out!
(Here's the link, by the way: http://www.istinyepark.com)
Does anybody know the name of the film theatre in Istinye Park?
(And a link would be helpful, I cannot find anything on sinema.com or beyazperde. Thanks.)

Was there this week and it was really good. What I find amazing in Istinye Park though is the social segration from bottom to the top floor. Istinye-gecekondu-blue-collar-workers: basement. High-society: top level.
