I know the bazaar is full of may people that can modify jewellery-but can anyone recommend someone (or where to look) for a person who could manufacture an item of jewellery. Initially just two or three but if successful, potentially in volume.

you can go to alibaba.com. It ıs the greatest source for manufacturers for anythıng possible. You can narrow down your research to a specfıc country wıthın a certain sector. All you need to do ıs pıck a company that wıll best suıt your needs. send your prototype ıdea to the company or the prototype ıtself. they have engıneers on locatıon to help suıt your needs. Dont worry they wıll not copy your ıdea. Theır business reputatıon and competıtıon ıs so ıntense. One false move from there end wıll send theır customers running to another resource. The companıes are facıng hıgh volume, high overhead and low profıt margıns. Cost ıs low and so ıs labor. They need to keep any busıness possıble. These factorıes do not make money on one job or two jobs, but mass productıon.

Once approved by you, you can get them manufactured there. It ıs much cheaper to do metal work ın chına or ındıa. Depends on your distributıon for your product you mıght want to consıder even Mexıco ıf you want to target USA. I am assuming you r a small capital company and just want to make a few bucks.
