Post Need big space for Thanksgiving dinner
We have a bunch of folks coming in from all over the world for Thanksgiving dinner. The guest list has reached 30, which is bit more than anyone's apartment can contain. So we need an alternative. Does anyone know:

a huge apartment we can rent (big, good kitchen, lots of utensils, places for people to sit) for a day

OR

A restaurant we can rent out for the day/night. We'd bring our own food, booze and do our own cooking. Maybe we'd pay for clean up!

It's an ordinary Thursday night for the rest of the word (nov 22) but it's a big deal for us!

any other ideas? We'd want this place to be easy to get to, probably between Beyoglu/Taxim and Etiler.

maybe the Nexus could do something. They used to do private parties and give use to their kitchen.

Been sold.
So what you need is a low business cafe/restaurant - hotel would also be good if you have those kind of connections...
There maybe a place - I will ask them and hook you up. You have my number? The rental fee is going to be fun! :D

You mentioned buying lessons for your hub at a cooking school, cequirk. Couldn't you inquire with them whether the school rents the facilities out for such a private dinner?

There's a school around the corner from me in Kalamış as well:

That's a good idea Burbaco, but I know that school is in Fener, which is a bit out of the way for this crowd.

Charly, PM me. I don't have any of your info. Let me know what you find out!

Post I might have an idea:)
Hi cequirk:)
I know a place right in the middle of Istiklal Street. That's actually a big and excellent place for meetings, parties etc. but the owner is just a dumb asshole with no ideas how to run the place! I've heard that he's dying to rent his HUGE place for special meetings. And I am sure you can really have fun there, because I know the place. It won't cost much, I believe. Contact me if you think that's a good idea...

PS: My only condition would be to be invited
