 Outlet shopping in Istanbul?
With all of the garmet manufacturing here, I assume there must be some outlet shopping in Istanbul. Does anyone have any tips? I've been to the Sali Pazaar in Kadikoy, and they occasionally have well-known brands. (My sister is hoping to pick up some cute outfits for her kids while visiting- like Gap, Polo, Old Navy...).
I read about Olivium Shopping Center on the internet. Has anyone been? Is it worth making the trip?
Thanks!!
Kiki

There are outlet centres all over the place. There are bargains to be had at Olivium but maybe not worth the trip if you live miles away. If she's after children's clothes, there's a Demsa outlet at Kozyatağı, which has a mothercare outlet. Also in Yeni Bosna, just off the E5, there are a number of outlet places. What area do you live in? There maybe somewhere close to your home as some of these places are quite out of the way.

 Thanks for the tips!
Thanks! We're in Etiler, and I've heard there are some outlets in the Maslak area. Maybe we'll try those. But, in case we do venture further, where is Kozyatagi (a mothercare outlet could be good!).
And where is Erenkoy (I still have a lot to learn!)? And is it an all day bazaar?
I really appreciate the tips!
(:

 Found them!
Hi again!
Sorry for asking stupid questions. I googled and found both places. But could you give me directions or addresses for:
Demsa Outlet in Kozyatagi
Bazaar in Erenkoy
We've been here 4-5 months, and I'm finding my way around, but there's a lot I don't know. It's always helpful to have at least an address when I'm trying to get somewhere.
Thanks to both jellyfish and breakfastin konak!

There is also a shop in Kadikoy, I don't know the name (something like Pero or somethimg like that), which sells children cloths => very cheap. It's close to the bull in Kadikoy center. When my sister comes, she always buys there, you can buy like winx, etc.

For Erenköy: Its on the Anatolian side, you need to take a minibüs which goes to Pendik or Kartal and get off on Minibüs road right after Marmara University. Tell the driver you want to get off at Ethemefendi street in frond of PELİT pastanesi. The bazaar is in Ethem Efendi street all day on Thursdays

It's not on Ethem Efendi. It's a bit further on up the road towards Bostancı.
