So that's where the chicken came from??? Galata Dia is only good for pasta, rice and booze! There is a great butcher and vegetable shop next door - hang on! We are assuming the computer geek can cook???? 10 mins walk is the fish market where you can buy the same stuff as in Nis! Bebek isn't that great! Traffic! Bad hairdresser! Anyway - YabanciAnne - you don't even live in Nis! As I found out when I got a taxi there and had to walk to your gaff! In heels! Come to the dingy side of town my friend! Be one of us! (If you've got a grand plus you can get a place in my prison but they go like hot cakes!)

If you were to look on an official Istanbul city map, you wouldn't even see an area marked Nisantasi--it's just an informal name for the area bounded by Harbiye, Macka Park, Besiktas, and Sisli, which is officially divided between the Harbiye and Tesvikiye Mahalleleri. Most people don't really distinguish between Tesvikiye and Nisantasi except for the part of Tesvikiye nearest to Akaretler and the major hotels. And that was your mistake for wearing heels in the dead of winter And if he can't cook, Nisantasi has better stuff on yemeksepeti

If this is the guy I remember, he has to get to Dikilitas every day, so somewhere in the general Nisantasi-Sisli-Besiktas-Fulya-Gayrettepe area would likely be his best bet.
