
Road closures & water cuts
Part of Sarıyer-Levent direcion of Büyükdere Avenue near the Military Academy will be closed to traffic for nine days to complete the second phase of Seyrantepe-TEM highway pedestrian tunnel and bridge construction. TEM highway's Sarıyer turn will also be closed and vehicle flow will be directed to the “4. Levent Sanayi” junction.
Istanbul Governor's Office announced that the Bosporus Bridge will be partially closed to traffic between 12 p.m. and 6 a.m. during the renewal of suspension cable clip plates between August 20 and November 24. Renewal works will occur in two phases. Drivers will not be able to use two lanes on which work will continue on the Northern route (Asia-Europe direction) during the first phase between Aug. 20 and Oct. 11, and on the Southern route (Europe-Asia direction) during the second phase between Oct.15-Nov. 24.
ISKI works necessitate water cuts
Some districts of Silivri will not receive water for 24 hours due to rainwater reservoir construction and related work to an effluent drain in Yenimahalle Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ).
Water cuts will begin in all parts of Silivri, except Gümüşkaya, Çanta, Selimpaşa, Celaliye and Kamiloba for 24 hours beginning at 7 a.m. on Aug. 20, declared Istanbul Municipality Waterworks (ISKI). In other areas, water cuts will start at 10 a.m. on Aug. 21 for 24 hours due to construction work at Istanbul subway Auto Industry Station.
