Systems Dynamics help needed... not computer related
I am developing a systems dynamics map to define the various relationships in urban transport. I am looking for a person to work with me on this. I have asked some profs if this is taught at the universities, but no luck.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a process flow/map ?
Are you just defining the relationships or are you going to be giving real-life examples ?
Your transport map. Isnt it a series of inputs and outputs ?
i.e. Getting to work is an output(the result). The input to that process are the steps involved e.g.
walk, bus, walk, ferry, walk, bus walk.
We were taught this kind of stuff years ago and one of the examples was how to make a cup of coffee. Everyone got it wrong. We all started off with things such as checking the kettle or walking into the kitchen..... because the first point should be..... do i want a cup of coffee ! Same applies for going to Kanyon....do i actually want to go shopping ?
What about economic dynamics ? I would presume people from the poorer areas of Istanbul, even if they want to go to Kanyon, is it economically viable building a metro to that area just for 'window shoppers' ?

First the priority: NO on Kanyon. If I MUST go shopping, I prefer the Kapali Carsi. I TOTALLY hate shopping centers.
It's more than just a process flow map. It's actually a way of thinking.
I am talking about systems maps that show reinforcing and counteracting loops, uses stocks and flows and addresses issues such as "Tragedy of the Commons."
It's a very enlightening way to approach an issue, but a bit challenging till you get really proficient.
Too bad I can't upload a file. I could show you an example.
