 Urgent: Help needed on Istanbul nightlife I have been living already for a while in Istanbul, more than 9 years, however after the birth of my kids, the nightlife has been reduced in changing diapers at three in the morning 
I have some friends coming over from Holland, which would like to go clubbing and/or bars. However, I know some places, I'm not sure if they are still open and are the same. Perhaps they have turned into a gaybar, and don't want to look like a fool on Saturadynight 
My question: Nice/cool places to go out at Istıklal area?

What kind of music and what kind of crowd? So many places.
Dance live music crowded stylish age-group..........................???????
Can really narrow it down for you and save any embarrassments! Or walking.
Try to include Ghetto on the list as it's a nice big venue but check to see what is on - as with many of the other places.
