 Want to buy chairs at good prices? I recommend you forget the department stores if you are looking for something special without the price tag and go to this street in Çağlayan that sells mainly chairs (ask your cab driver - or perhaps someone here knows the name...).
I found designer chairs and American 1950s diner-style high chairs (moulded plastic -see through and opaque- and wire) for YTL85 each that I saw today in Address Istanbul for YTL300. Lots of normal stuff too.

Mostly knock-offs.
Or, if you are into second-hand original designer furniture for a fraction of original prices, try DANK in Etiler, in the car park of Etiler Uptown shopping mall.
