 Water Cuts
I am wondering about this water problem. This year I have not been without water a single day and also I did not hear anyone complaining about not having water. Are they cutting water while people are at work or have we not faced any shortness so far?

I've been at home a lot in the past few weeks and we have had our water cut (and yesterday our electricity) every 2 or 3 days for hours at a time. Recently, it seems to have been starting around 10am and finishing some time late in the afternoon, but it's not always the way. I tend to just periodically check that there's water, and if the pressure is low in the tap when I turn it on, I fill up a washing basin so I can at least have some water to wash my hands or fruit in while it is cut. I have discovered that i need to do things like wash my hair, put on the washing machine, and do my cleaning whenever I discover there is water. I made the mistake of postponing those things on Friday coz I couldn't be bothered, then got up on Saturday to discover the water was dying and only had time for a 1 minute shower before it went off. Then when it came back on late in the day, I couldn't be bothered again, and figured I'd do it on Sunday. Problem was, power went out Sunday at about 2am, and didn't come back until after 1pm, so I sat around all morning feeling useless waiting for it to come back on. It's driving me mad. The hassles of living in a not-so-flash place in Sisli, as opposed to all the great places and sites I lived in last year. So in answer to your question, of late, the cuts around here seem to mainly be during the day, but not always mid-week. Before, we were having them mostly in the afternoon through to the early hours of the morning, sometimes all night so I couldn't shower at night or in the morning before work. Glad it rained today. Hope it does some more of that soon.

Oh dear. Is your urine coloured? You suffer from vomiting or diarrhea?
It's all AKP's fault! Donate a water tank to RSA!
