There is an outdoor patio restaurant up on the hill above Rumeli Hisari, but closer to the FSM bridge.

My wife and I were driving across the bridge Saturday night, saw a bunch of people sitting outside on the patio, and were wondering what it is.

...and before the dinner crowd they still look you up and down if you're not dressed the part and offered us unfavourable seats even when we said we'd be 1 hour. I didn't bite, who wants to pay that much to not even get to see the view... won't be going there again.

Been there a few times, always got a seat with a view. (May be it was the Yabanci factor). Can be quite windy ouside.

But clearly you go for the view, not the food (food is o.k. but overpriced for what you get)

I dont know doga tepe, but when ı read "Rumeli Hisar" and "near the bridge" I immediatly thought to the Yildiz Technic Universitesi Vakfı, it s very closed to the bridge and with swimming pool and restoran with view, perhaps it was what yu saw-

Hmm, this is not new, almost every restaurant in Istanbul with a view is overpriced and serves poor food, it's a Turkish tradition.
