next Tuesday or Wed? I have visitors coming. If people are dancing that would be even better, but not necessary.

Thanks!

Do you want to combine it with dinner? Meyhane style?

Yes Wednesday was famous because of Selim Sesler. What's it like in the summer? Outside eating?
I just called them and they don't know whether there will be live music - try them tonight! I could have been speaking to the cleaner!

In the past I took visitors to this meyhane quite often: http://www.galata.com.tr. They have life music every evening, I think, people are dancing, and the food is good.

A geat little place I went was some Algerian street just off Taksim Square, very narrow stairs lined bars/cafes with singers.

Not quite the Turkish tradition but nice none the less.
