does anyone know a (nonpavyon) place to see a professional live bellydance show? I have a bellydancer friend from London coming to visit who wants to see one.

the only one i have seen here (that wasn't Oryantal Star) was at galata tower and it wwas okay, but couldn't stand the rest of the cheesy lounge show that went on the rest of the evening!

I am reluctantly interested in this topic too. I have a british hen party coming here in June and they say they want to do this. This will be the extent of my research in to the topic.

Hi Jen and Cequirk

Last month I brought a couple of friends to Kervansaray in Harbiye and they really enjoyed the show. Hope this helps

* Orient House (in Beyazit ) : 0212 517 3488
* Keravan sarayi (in Harbiye ) : 0212 247 1630

Both of them are the most popular one in Istanbul.
