 ummm...
As a die-hard Nişantaşılı, I have to say this: the Asian side *does* have a metro--what do you think that boklu dere-passing train is?
It *does* have an airport--Sabiha Gökçen.
It *does* have historical sites--Beylerbeyi; the castle at Anadolu Kavağı; the Florence Nightingale hospital; the churches at Moda; the mosques at Üsküdar...
I don't remember what else you wrote, but the Asian side certainly has its own personality and version of night life...much more chill but can certainly be appreciated...the cruisers on Bağdat Caddesi are definitely preferable to the Magandas on İstiklal...

Anne I meant a really metro not an antiquated trolleybus. Also when was the last time you used Sabiha Gökçen airport? the only thing I have seen fly out of there was a seagull. The cruisers on Bağdat Caddesi maybe more preferable to magandas but at least you can cross the street on Istikal without fear of being run over by a pumped up Tofas doing 120 with halk music blaring out of it.

Europe has Galata!!!
(God I love the place today! What's up? Am I soon to leave?)
I don't feel too much on my guard at all around Beyoglu. There is always a police car driving up and down.
Oh and Europe has the jobs!!!! Most important!

Europe has Karakoy????? What the f? My house has a toilet too,but im not bragging about it.
What's so good about Karakoy?
i lived in Besiktas for 2 years and its my favourite place, thats why im always visiting. And i've been to Taksim more times in the last 7 months than i did in 2 years in Besiktas. But now i live on the asian side and love coming back here to chill out. it only took 15 minutes to get home from Taksim tonight and only 3,5 milyon.
i know this has all been argued before so im wasting my time, but i can see both sides.....and i prefer living in Asia.
blah blah blah...........

Moda has a creek that bubbles and lets off toxic gases.
