 Boo Hoo
Dont fly Turkish Airlines to New Delhi....food was bad and gawd....service was even worse... all I was able to drink was hot Efes....my last
New Delhi was/is Humid...checked into the Le Meridien and was a great hotel, nice lovely women and must say the nightclub 'C.J's' was the best highlight....
Good to have typical spicy indian food.....Sometimes it sure beats being home...
Bad news I lost my mobile...so people I know on the forum, send me ur numbers via PM and then I can send u some wicked pictures that I took here.
At the moment I am trying to find a house as well as an office so can start shop and get this nightmare into action...
the thing that really gives me an headache is that everyone swings their head sideways....(Try it!!, suppose to be good for the brains) when they say yes, no, I dont know, I know, you are right, you are wrong, please go that way ...They have to swing their head sideways..
Another thing, people here are so much like the turks back home. They say YES for everything, even if they did not understand the question...LOL
Words for today: OOHa - that is said in turkish when someone is surprised. AyyYO - that is said in Hindi when someone is surprised
Charly, drinking here alcohol called 'Old Monk' made out of dark Rum, mixed with coke....delicious....was thinking of you...remind me to pick one up when I head back home.
For others, if there is any shopping list...lemme know.... Guys! if there is any attraction to dusky women....then this is the place to be....Ahem!!
NEXT STOP - Bombay (AKA Mumbai)

Ah how sweet! Drinking an old monk and thinking of me - not something I've ever tasted but always willing to give anything a shot!
Enjoy!!!! Watch out for the cows!

 Still Alive
Finally seattled down..somewhere in the South Part of India, couple of hours drive from Pondicherry and and hour by flight to Goa. weather is perfect, staedy all year round.... Beat met, so far 3 Turks married to Indians!!! and even more funny, they asked what I am doing here... This place is very clourful and vibrant...so much to see, the scenery is out of the world....the closed comparison, I could think of is Fethiye and the landscape minus the sea Seems like alot is happening since I was online here,.... I will upload some pictures that I took here.....should give you an idea of this place... My new passion, Indian wine and cigars! Never knew that these exsisted here...

Well, i have to say that I love turkish airlines. I flew SNbrussels ( http://www.flysn.com) business to brussels last time i went to visit my parents. the food was good but i had "normal" legroom When I flew back I flew with Turkish Airlines economy and I could actually stretch my legs. the food was bad tho. Ofcourse, that's what you pay for in business.

I haven't been to Delhi but I have been to Mumbai. Stay at the Taj Hotel or at The Oberoi. Great spa. Good upmarket vibe in clubs, restaurants in both hotels.
Do you mean to say, watch out for the cow dung? They burn them for fuel.fire in the winter which fouls the air and makes New Delhi one of the worst polluted cities in the world! Sorry, not into dusky women but some of the dusky men are hot! Go Bollywood!
In July, I flew on Turkish airlines from Istantul to Nice and back and it wasn't bad at all. In March I also flew them (biz class was expensive at friggin' $800 since I purchased it the day of departure) to Istanbul from Frankfurt and I was well-treated with matching smiles this time. Domeestic routes? Forget it. I joined thier frequent flyer program in 2003 and they haven't even sent me the plastic membership card!
If anybody has flown Cathay Pacific Airlines (a Hong Kong based carrier), it's one of the best in the world. In fact, they won the best airline of the year award this year. They used to fly to Istanbul from Hong Kong but they discontinued that service. Singapore Airlines is very good too. Forget about US carriers domestically or internationally although I like Delta's service into/ out of Istanbul on their business class cabin. The ground staff and the station manager at Ataturk Airport also gives excellent service. Too bad Delta is facing bankruptcy issues.

I AM BACK...
after a eventful time in the great land of Yoga/meditation/vegetarian food/dangerous roads & drivers (that can make your hair turn white and pray for not renewing one's life insurance)...
I have said my farewell to India and have stepped back to my favorite city......
IStanbuooolll

So to all the newbies...and oldies....
A Big Hello and Season's Greeting for you religious punters and a great bloody throat cutting Bayram for the 5 time prayers!!
It's good to be back on this site and time now to flood in some dry sarcastic humor along with some of the nasty words I picked up down there...
