Post Kos/Kalymnos/Leros - B&B Query
Has anyone been to Kos, Kalymnos and/or Leros? My folks are planning a getaway (from the loony bin, obviously) and dad has asked me to see if I can find any info on B&B's or any package tours on the net. I'm digging up their options online, but I thought I'd check if anyone on the boards have done something similar. Is a package deal better, or should they just take the ferry over and see what's available?

I've never been to the Greek Isles, so I'd appreciate any sort of info.

Been to Kos about 20 odd times. Not much to do there apart from load up on booze and B&H fags but you will have no problems finding pesions etc as they are quite a few pension owners on the dock when your boat comes into port.

Thanks, that's great. The folks go to Kos quite a bit (that's the one across from Bodrum, yes?), but it will be their first time visiting the other two.

I used to go there every months for my visa yrs ago when I did a 3 year stint in Bodrum. takes 15 min by hydrofoil or 45 mins with the slow tug boat. They run all the time and was running back in '96 on the same day Greece and Turkey almost went to war but made an interesting journey dodging all the gun boats.
