Post Oludeniz - Paragliding
This week I was on holiday in south starting from Koycegiz to Kas (Koycegiz-Dalyan-Gocek-Kalkan and finally Kas) and tried tandem Paragliding with Focus Tours.

http://www.focusparagliding.com/ad_tantem.html

There is also paragliding available in Kas area but it doesn't seem attractive at all since the view is much better in Oludeniz.

I also did Parasailing back in 1999 in Bodrum it isn't something comparable to Paragliding at all.

I definitely recommend everyone at least once to experience this great feeling of flying..

It's a great possibility that I might get addicted to Paragliding but there is this ride to Babadag mountain for 45 minutes where the road is a "real" mountain road covered with stones/small rocks and dust!! It definitely is not an easy ride but they don't tell you beforehand and you find it out on the way where there is no turning back!!

Once you're ready for take-off (put on your equipment and attached to your pilot) then you wait for the "right" wind. Once the wind is good to jump you start running and after a couple of steps you feel there is no connection with the earth anymore and that is the point of no return!! you're up in the sky!!! Landing is quite easy. Just follow the instructions from your pilot and all you need to do is take one or two small steps when necessary..

Have a nice flight

I'm with you there - I did this in tandem from Babadag a few years ago and loved it too - quizzed my instructor on available courses at the time!

It was so much more relaxing than I expected once in the air... could have easily enjoyed a mid-flight drink or snack on the way down had I thought of bringing some supplies...

I did this back in 2003 and it was just amazing. I notice that they no longer wear the protective suits and everyone just goes in their own clothes now. Anybody know why?
