Post Pollyanna in SF with AISF
I'm now in San Francisco, staying with AISF (who is so kind to host Anastasia and me!) The poor woman has been overrun with our luggage!

We're in Sf for the next 4 days, so perhaps we'll write about some of the adventures we're having with AISF...

Have fun there with your gorgeous hostess. Please deliver her back to the forum safely. I'm missing her posts and emails while you're there. I'm looking forward to reading about your (mis)adventures.

We'll be in Michigan 17-21 May. Any chance you want to roadtrip down there?? We were in Buffalo last month, but that's the closest we've come to THE GREATH FROZEN NORTH

Sorry Pollyanna. You can keep her for now, but please don't keep her for more than your 4 days or I'll go crazy! I'm so bored today. There hasn't been any action on the forum, and I only got a short email, instead of the epics that I usually get from AlSF. Obviously Matt's around now, but he's been a bit of a word-miser lately. I suppose I could chat to him..

Boy these ladies are keeping me up! :D Just teasing Polyanna...actually she went to bed.

Evet we are having a ball and enoying each others' company. We had a nice al fresco breakfast in the sunny patio Monday morning and I made a pizza and salad for dinner. Rolling out that dough is always tricky...

I missed you all too. So sorry to have been away from the forum and for sending you just a few Monsta...I shall resume with the novellas this weekend by the time the ladies leave.
Well try to take photos on the Wednesday event and post it here if they make the cut.

ALSF took us to SLANTED DOOR in the ferry building for dinner tonight along with some of her Turkish friends...and it turns out that her friend Tuğçe and I took BELLYDANCING CLASSES together about 3 years ago from Nesrin Topkapı! small world... and getting smaller

:D

We have had a wonderful time here. The weather is great, the flowers are in bloom, our friend Todd took us all to the botanical gardens (where he and his green thumb volunteer)... ALSF's lovely friend Maryam and husband Muhamed (Turkophile Iranians with a home in Bodrum and a fluffy little poodle named "fırfıri") invited us over for dinner last night after our Berkeley reading. Maryam had prepared a huge feast.

We WERE toying with the idea of going to a party tonight (ALSF really wanted to go) but Anastasia and I are party poopers. Too tired to tango. :? As it is, I don't know how Alicia will wake up on time tomorrow morning!
