errrm, can i give my list of songs after some advice please??
i just got the shuffle..
i have managed to get one disk on it.. but have lots of songs saved on pc that i downloaded free elsewhere... HOW do i transfer these songs, as from what i can see, it seems it only wants to accept downloads from ipod site or a cd...
thanks in advance if anyone is kind enough to help me on this..

You should have I-Tunes installed on your computer. You should have got this with the shuffle or you can download it for free.
Once installed and on your desktop
click file
click add folder to library
then just point to the folder where your music is.
Then when you have your mp3 player connected, you just drag and drop songs from your library to i-shuffle in the left window.

First, I suggest you register your product with Apple.com online if you haven's done so. As Starman said, iTunes installation is a must. You can also opt to register as a user so you can purchase songs with one click. The latest version of iTunes is 7.2 I believe. You then add songs or any media file (CDs or purchased music via iTunes, other media files) to your iTunes library. Then using your USB connectiondevice to you Ipod Shuffle, you load the songs. There will be dialogue box that opens below that allows you options to drag and drop songs to add to your mobile device.
