Metric, an awesome Toronto indie band is coming to Istanbul! I've been listening to them for a few years already and had no idea that they had made it to Europe.
Tickets are 30ytl through biletix so provided i get my drinks on nevizade before entering the always expensive indigo, this will be a great night of indie - electronic music.

Emilie Haines the singer just came out with her solo debut and her voice, stage presence, playfullness is really worth seeing. Metric dabbles in rock, trip-hop, electro, sometimes even hip-hop influences. and well, they're canadian.

my brother is in town from canada when they are here and they are one of his girlfriend's favourite bands...

but the point is that we will be going too!
a little disappointed that its on a thursday night since i work early the next day (and we will just have gotten back from berlin the night before)... and yes.. that sounds very grandma-ish but granny likes her sleep
