 Prince - 3121
after returning from the movies last nite the computer had just finished downloading the latest release of 'Prince' not the artist formely know as Prince but just Prince. no more 'the Sign' and all that shit. harking back to Prince's heyday this album, although not being his best has some funky little numbers. apart from few interlopers, Prince plays almost all the instruments on this recording. particularly liked the rock single "Fury". worthwhile listening to; it sure was a nice closure of the weekend, setting me up for Monday morning.

I like Jack Johnson. Good listening for Sunday mornings or brunch.
Incidentally, this guy was a Pro surfer before he decided to become a musician.

A mate of mine introduced me to Pete Murray , class ,got the Jack Johnston vibe roll on summer.
If your feeling a bit heavy in the heart , give The Tears a whirl , forgot how good the album is , The Ghost of you and Imperfection are lush.
On me travels, got paid so wine, women and song for me and then Im going to blow the rest.

Stay With You, the new single by the Goo Goo Dolls is pretty rockin'

I love Kaskade's The Calm album that was released in Feb. It's way cool and diverse without trying too hard.

not new but getting famous here now
Scot-born songstress/songwriter Kate Tunstall's Black Horse and A Cherry Tree was released last year but was just here in California on a US jaunt and will be touring here again soon. Due to this and her sheer talent of course, she's getting more airplay for sure. "Whoo on, whoo-oh" are now much more famous here than before. Her diary is interesting.
