I saw this newish song/video of Pink, "U and UR Hand" which I think is half-decent. Did she release this for Halloween? I don't get it that she tries to act like she's on top of the game wanting respect and all but her sense of 'dress' or should I say, 'undress' is appaling. I like her more dated song wihich is 'parody' of the blonde American pop icons.

Since Abi and I have been back there is soooo much to catch up on ,
Give these an honourable listen and you wont be dissapointed , Killers - Sams Town , Magic Numbers - Those the brokes , The Fratellis - Costello Music and the Scissor Sisters-Ta Dah(not my bag - Abi's choice(honest!))
Where off to see the Fratellis,Kasabian and the Magic numbers live in the next couple of weeks so will probably let you know how they are live.
Ta Dah for now.

Ta-dah was salvies choice, he likes to dance around the living room wearing my knickers and singing into a hair brush!
Apparently he had been keeping his cross-dressing a secret until we returned to the UK - it certainly was a BIG suprise!

Bonobo- days to come- lush jazzy string-infested rainforest with the occasional great vocal moment. Keep it natural.

I just got this one from Amazon today, Rhythms del Mundo, Cuba, Various Artists.
Now listening to track 4, Dido's "One Step Too Far"
I also love "Fragilidad" (Fragile) by Sting & Buena Vista Social Club, Clocks and a few other tracks.

"Those Things" by Miguel Migs. I previewed some tracks and they are good house tracks with pretty amazing vocals. You can check it out too at his 'My Space' page.
Miguel's CD launch party is tonight and it's going to be good.

yes- yes- yes- breakbeats are great when they are done well.
I have a lovely Hooj Tunes breakbeat mix album from a guy called Lee Burridge, but the real masters at work are these guys:

Would be great to get them over to Istanbul. Indigo would lap them up.

Yeah Lee Burridge was over here last month - If you want to see someone at Indigo, give them a call...You never know...Ask for Sercan through the PR company...
Just had a look and guess who is coming on Friday?

*nice to be able to have time to listen to music again*
A lovely, lovely hip hop compilation called - Solesides Greatest Bumps from the Quannum Collective. Includes a magisterial hip hop instrumental from DJ Shadow.
Rufus Wainright- Release the Stars. Delivate, emotionally-laiden, guitar music. Hints of Thom Yorke and Jeff Buckley.
The Cinematic Orchestra- Ma Fleur. Stripped down folky jazz with an emphasis on melodic beauty. A triumph.

ps Abi, Sal how was muddy Glastonbury this year?
