 Hacienda es muy caliente!
I love dancing to "Lia" by Steve Mill these days. I danced to it the other night at Hacienda, a new event at the Mirage's Revolution Lounge in Las Vegas with the uber talented Argentine dj/producer Hernan Cattaneo at the decks. Its smooth progressive house beats layered with electro takes me a few notches up from Renaissance in Ibiza. This one track to me is sexy and sultry and I just want to close my eyes, feel the music and dance. I did!
In fact Hernan Cattaneo's Renaissance Sequential 2 is an amazing dance compilation and the best one in this genre that I've heard this year so far. Lovers of deep house, progressive house with some breakbeats and percussive tunes who also like Digweed, Sasha, Satoshi Tomiee, Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg, etc. this album is not to be missed.
I don't see Istanbul on his tour calendar but hopefully someone there books him. He is truly amazing. And hot!

Pavement. Haven't played them for a while now but had a nostalgic moment listening to them in the shower this morning.
If you like melodic energetic guitar music, surreal and intriguing lyrics, and the occasional well-timed scream this band is the bees knees.

Building on my reputation as a dinosaur:
Rush - 2112, from 2112. With a screaming Geddy Lee, light fingered Alex Lifeson and mad sticksman, Neil Peart.

Macy Gray - A Moment To Myself. Do not hear many pop songs about masturbation around, but good song.

I keep hearing this annoying but catch song on the radio where the singer goes through about 3 octaves in the chorus which sounds like 'I could be brown I could be blue, I could be anything.........'' Who sings it (I've tried lyric search engines with no success)
