I like Stefani. She has this thing about Hakajuku girls. Harajuku (I believe I spelled it right) is a district in Japan famous for its girls who like to dress in a fashion-defiant way but ends up attracting much attention that they became sensations on their own right. Gwen's look is definitely unique, just like these girls who inspired her song.

BTW, have any of you ever heard of that rock song whith the lyrics below? I don't know the title.

"Somebody told me
you have a boyfriend
that looks like a girlfriend I dated in February of last year..."

Best song I heard today is "Love's Divine" by Seal.

Yes indeedy was also my song of the day on Tuesday.

Today, I favour black grape's song Kelly's Heroes for this (bat related) ditty.

"Who's got the biggest, who's got the biggest, who's got the biggest brain?
Jesus was a blackman, no Jesus was Batman
No that was Bruce Wayne"

Name of the song is besa me mucho...but i dont know the artist. But it has been in countless movie soundtracks. incredibly sexy and sorrowful at the same time.

Well done Ani for starting this little beauty of a thread up again.

I am safely back to pasta n' POWERFM and have heard a song twice that I quite like. It is like a cross between INXS (tight guitar licks) and the Rolling Stones (slightly drawling but powerful vocals). Sadly can't remember any of the words. Can anyone help me with the title and the band :?:

Turkish? Male? One guy singing or with backing? Youngish sound?

English. Male. One main guy singing (sounds a bit like Jagger) but joined in on the chorous. youngish (but yet retro sound). Think INXS and STONES.
