 Been around for awhile
Well after years of browsing your site and knowing several of the big shot mediators I feel like I should put myself out to meet the rest of you. This is my sixth year in Istanbul, I've seen and done alot but have not really gotten into the expat scene. I am originally from Canada and now living in Moda, I have my own antique carpet and textile company....and no....I am not like the average sketchy, hairy, gel-crusted, pointy shoe wearing carpet dealer....sorry

So, are you an above average sketchy, hairy, gel-crusted, pointy shoe wearing carpet dealer?
Welcome.

No wonder you haven't involved yourself in the expat community if you've actually met some of the big shot mediators. Don't blame you.

Thank the Lord, purple10u, for miracles and the friendship with big shot mediators. Why, all of a sudden, would you like to meet the rest of us?

I just want to put it on the record that I don't have anything against hairy, crusty carpet men - it's just not the way I do my thing.
I feel like I know so many of you already after I hearing many fun filled stories of drunken madness, I would love to put some faces to some names.

I sense an exposé on the expat community in Istanbul. Can I be in it?
