Thanks Pablos. Which part of London are you from?
Didn't make it to the drinks because I didn't know where to go! Ended up in a bar called Atlas and then went on to 360 and an awful club called Indigo.
Where did you guys go?
Still waiting for the events forum to magically appear .....

Sorry, I just saw this today. I couldn't have helped you much, though. I couldn't find the place myself and someone wasn't answering their phone. 
Where are you living? I'm on the Asian side but I usually head into Kadikoy on Tues/Wed nights if you ever want to meet up for drinks somewhere nearby. I'm curious to hear more about the British IT system.

Hey there. I lived in London until recently (South of the river I'm afraid, most of my friends think that is worse than having Ebola but there you go) but am actually from Gloucester.
Friday night was cool, a few of us ended up going to Babylon and watching some funky gypsy musicians (sounds weird writing that) and it was wicked.
Not sure what plans are for this weekend yet but I'm around, though it seems that lots of people are taking advantage of the hols and jetting off.

Hi again
It was a good weekend, there was dancing (not sure if it was with gypsies), Babylon is on a back street at the Tunel end of Istiklal (I think).
Off to London this weekend but always up for doing something if you have time when I get back.
