Wish I found this forum earlier! We've been in Istanbul 3 weeks.
My husband is a froggy too, and here for work.
Too bad we missed all the soirees.
Do let us know if there will be more French food parties.
We are still looking to a place to settle in, but once we do, we'll have a party.
I make a mean Moules Marinere (my hubby says it's better than Leon de Bruxelles)
Anyone know where I can find these as well?

Be careful when talking about parties..........people turn up.
I think you can get Gewurztraminer wine in Alsace, but I'm not certain.

sorry I did not follow up on EiT. I had visits, and big issues with my internet connection. It seems to be good now.
I have no clue where to find roquefort and alsacian white wines here.
For parties, if it is on a week end, I am on!
