So, Angel, where in Uskudar do you live and what is your schedule like during the week?

Well, Angel, it looks to me as if Bhaklava has turned into Arlo Guthrie! Or do my eyes deceive me? You can get anything you want at Alice's Restaurant! You must hook up with Bhaklava in Uskudar-- with Teachechick too! Maybe so should we all! Mayhap they will lead us to Arlo and songs from times gone by.

Hey, Arlo has plenty of new songs out - of course most of them don't take 45 minutes each to play. But Verjen, you and I, as the old fogies on the forum, may be the only ones who know who Arlo is. As Wavy Gravy said "if you remember the 60's you weren't there." Guess I enjoyed it!

Hi Verjen et al! What was the question about the old fogies, sorry, over 50s? I might
admit to it if there's a chance of getting together over a Babycham or two ??!!

Oh yes - welcome Angel, we need all we can get! I lived in Zeynep Kamil a few years' ago
and was really happy in the "village". Living in Cihangir now, which is very similar?!

Note to self - cut out the numerous ?? and !!

Thanks all for the welcome and helpful suggestıons! It is really great to see such an active website.

I'm not sure I can comment on the over 50's theme but in answer to the other questions, yes, I hail from Australia, not Austria (so definitely not spying for the EU). I do drink beverages other than coffee and yes, I was in Kosovo for about a year and a half (who's the frıend?). And Seggiest, a poltroon or craven, perhaps? Not last time I checked. Too much time for you on Free rice??

I'm afraid Tuesday lunches and weekdays are out for me at the moment as, in theory at least, I have a job. Sunday evenings are good.
