 Just landed
Hello All! I just arrived in Istanbul (originally from Aust.) and will be here for about 1.5 years.
I'm currently job searching and would love to get in touch with anyone working in the NGO/development sector (human rights, rule of law etc). I've got quite a bit of experience but am having a hard time making contacts here.
And if there's anyone living in/around Uskudar interested in meeting up for coffee, please let me know.

Welcome to Istanbul & EIT Angel. I'm sure the very people you need to know will be in touch soon. Do you only drink coffee?

Welcome Angel -- Melik!
I have an Aussie staying with me for a few days. What city are you from? My business partner lived for years in Sydney.
Bhaklava is definitely in your area. Great lady to know.

Welcome to the community angel. Hmm. Human rights? Could you perhaps be spying for the EU?

hi there angel from a fellow Australian. When you are able to receive PMs (that is after you make a few more postings) I will PM you.
Did you by any chance work in Kosovo previously? We may have a mutual acquaintance here.

Angel and Dawn -- what a lovely combination of names! -- for acronym ignoramuses such as myself, what is an NGO? No-going-over? Please inform.
